Sherwin Arends has joined South African Tourism as commerce relations officer, bringing a wealth of data and experience to the position following 12 years’ expertise working inside the journey trade.
Initially from Cape City, Arends moved to the UK six years in the past after travelling the world as a member of cabin crew for Qatar Airways.
His most up-to-date position was senior product government for Audley Journey.
Arends stated: “I’m very obsessed with my start nation and happy with my South African heritage so I’m thrilled to be becoming a member of the South African Tourism group within the UK.
“I’m trying ahead to showcasing South Africa as a number one vacationer vacation spot, with a deal with selling the well-known areas and experiences and serving to to uncover and educate the commerce on the vacation spot’s hidden gems.”
Arends shall be tasked with constructing and sustaining relationships with key journey commerce contacts within the UK and Eire whereas utilising South African Tourism’s analysis and insights to make sure the brokers are supplied with all of the instruments and help to confidently promote South Africa.
