Japan Airways has taken supply of its first A350 XWB at Airbus headquarters in Toulouse, France.
The A350-900 is the primary plane produced by Airbus for JAL.
The milestone occasion was attended by JAL consultant director and chairman, Yoshiharu Ueki, and Airbus chief industrial officer, Christian Scherer.
Altogether JAL has ordered 31 A350 XWB plane, comprising 18 A350-900s and 13 A350-1000s.
JAL will initially function the A350-900 on excessive frequency home routes, whereas the bigger A350-1000 will fly on the provider’s long-haul worldwide community.
The primary plane will enter service on the airline’s Haneda-Fukuoka route in the beginning of September.
